Janis Marshall

Actor, director, childrens’ theatre workshop specialist and event co-ordinator.

Janis MarshallJanis started her working life as a Public Relations assistant at The Scottish Parliament and was involved in the establishment of the schools visits programme, workshops and Parliament events.  Throughout this time she performed in Edinburgh, including at the Fringe.  She has since survived an MA Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow but her true training has been since graduating - through her extensive work as a drama workshop practitioner and performer.

Working with companies such as Hopscotch, Giant, Baldy Bane, Borderline, Collusion, Cultural Connections, National Theatre of Scotland, Cumbernauld Theatre, Ankur, Tram Direct, Radio Theatre Group…  As well as practical work, Janis has a strong background in office and events management, working for the International Schools’ Theatre Association as well as several years as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe High Street administrator and Fringe Sunday Kids Tent manager.

She has immersed herself and her skills in the Scottish arts scene and hopes to help others do the same.

Janis has recently taken starring and producing roles in UNSCENE’s debut short film “Black & White”.

 

Paul Kozinski

Actor, Director, Film Maker

Paul KozinskiPaul graduated in Acting and Performance at Langside College in 1999.  Over the past decade Paul has had extensive experience across the arts including performing, directing and workshopping.  He has performed many roles, including Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead and Robin in Time And The Conways plus over 10 parts in a staged radio production of Flash Gordon to name but a few.  He has also followed the good Scottish tradition of making two separate appearances on Taggart!

Along with devising and shooting short films, he can often be found performing for companies such as Hopscotch - performing twice daily to primary children across Scotland.  Paul also appears in touring stage productions, short films and TV productions/adverts. He has also had principle roles in TRAM Direct’s on-stage and outdoor promenade performances across Glasgow.

Having been well received by peers and colleagues, Paul’s directorial debut short film “DETACHED” was selected to be shown at the Sefton Film Festival 2007 and also directed and produced “BLACK & WHITE”, UNSCENE’s debut short film. Most recently Paul has completed directing “Buried Treasure”, a music video for LA based singer/songwriter Grant-Lee Phillips.

 

Graham Duffy

Graham has a very versatile background in the world of performing arts and has worked in many different capacities both on and off the stage, in the UK and USA.   Graham is currently based in Glasgow, working as a Director, Musical Director and Performer and is the co-founder and Artistic Director for the Duffy School of Dance and Drama, along with his sister, Emma.  He is also one of Scotland’s most acclaimed theatre workshoppers and has been facilitating workshops for both adults and children since the age of 16.

Graham is currently writing and composing a new musical entitled ‘Musical Chairs’, which he plans to stage in the near future.
